‘La Mitica’ is Italian for ‘The Legend’, and the Castelli LaMitica Jersey harks back to the days of Italian cycling legend Fausto Coppi with a classic striped design that has been given a contemporary update.
The LaMitica Jersey uses the Castelli Squadra jersey construction that takes a traditional cut but updates it with modern fabrics and technical features. The body of the short sleeve jersey is made from Castelli’s ProSecco Micromesh fabric which wicks moisture with ease, keeping you dry. The side panels are in mesh for extra breathability while the sleeves are a high stretch material providing a close to body fit. The drop tail design holds the three rear pockets in place and stops the jersey riding up while the covered YKK® Vislon® keeps the jersey’s stripes uninterrupted, like the zipless jerseys of Coppi’s time.
