The Men's S-Works Epic Ultralight frame by Specialized present a revolutionary step forward in the world of cross-country racing bikes. Lightness is key in gaining that winning edge, and the S-Works Epic delivers just that. The ultralight frame boasts a graphic, which on average, saves an impressive 100 grams compared to other S-Works models. Every gram counts in a race, making S-Works Epic Ultralight the top choice among competitive cyclists.
As race tracks evolve, becoming more challenging and technical, so does our design approach. The S-Works Epic Ultralight was conceived with the consideration of all the elements that make a bike handle well. Stable at speed and comfortable to ride, this bike accommodates full-length dropper posts fitting in the 30.9mm seat tube. The slacker head angle in collaboration with a custom offset 42mm fork allows the bike to maintain composure in tight corners and switchbacks.
A key upgrade in the S-Works Epic Ultralight is the Brain 2.0 technology. This redesigned suspension system has moved closer to the rear axle, the most sensitive spot, leading to more consistent damping performance. Brain 2.0 introduces an integrated hoses-in-suspension-links system that improves oil paths and presents a sleek package that outperforms any on the market.
To top it all, the S-Works Epic Ultralight promises an increase in stiffness, thanks to the Rider-First Engineered™ tubes. These are strategically placed to massively improve front end stiffness, leading to improved ride quality and control. The efficient frame layout saves weight equivalent to shedding a chainstay and shock extension from the previous Epic - nearly 350 grams.
