We live and breathe aerodynamics because we know that optimizing aerodynamics is the best way to make you faster. And this philosophy is especially true with the new Venge. It's not only the most aerodynamic bike on the road, but it's also lighter. Now, with SRAM RED eTAP, you're definitively looking at the new shape of speed.Our quest for the perfect tube shapes didn't start in the Win Tunnel. It started with the FreeFoil Shape Library. Our engineers used a supercomputer to create new airfoil shapes with different weights, surface areas, and structural targets. With this library, we tested various configurations in the Win Tunnel to determine the fastest setup.Compared to the Venge ViAS, the new Venge is eight seconds faster over 40km at zero degrees of yaw. It's also faster in all wind conditions, not just in the tunnel.While aerodynamics are important, other factors contribute to speed. Finding the perfect combination of weight and aerodynamics is crucial for overall performance. The Venge is more aero than the ViAS and it's also lighter. We saved 460 grams in the weight of the bike, including frame, fork, cockpit, seatpost, and small parts. So whether you're climbing, descending, or riding on flat terrain, the Venge will be the fastest option.The weight savings come from our Rider-First Engineered tubes. We used different layup schedules and materials, resulting in a lighter Venge with a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio and more compliance than the ViAS, regardless of frame size.The geometry of the Venge has been updated based on over 40,000 Retül data points and feedback from professional riders. This resulted in a Performance Road Geometry that combines a responsive front-end with a short wheelbase for instant response and optimal power transfer.The Venge also has some exciting new features. The cockpit, developed with input from our World Tour teams, features a stem with higher stiffness, lighter and faster bars, and a textured pattern on the tops for better grip and control. The Venge has no problem clearing 32mm-wide tires.The S-Works Venge comes with the best components, including the all-new SRAM RED eTAP AXS groupset, hydraulic disc brakes, Roval CLX 64 Disc wheels with 700x26mm Turbo Cotton tires, and an integrated power meter in the RED AXS crankset.
