The design ethos was simplicity itself; create the most intuitive trail bike on the market. We achieved this by pinpointing the perfect balance between stiffness, weight, and practicality, leading to a bike that almost reads your mind on the trails.
Utilising an extensive mountain-specific stiffness test, FEA software, and honest, hard-earned expertise, we crafted a distinct, innovative sidearm design for the frame. This advanced design optimises stiffness at the three connection points between the front-end and rear-end, ensuring absolute precision and control with every pedal.
Custom Rx Trail Tune technology is employed on both the fork and rear shock, offering size-specific suspension performance for optimal tuning possibilities. Worry not about wheel size preferences as we developed a specific Rx Tune for each platform, ensuring linear suspension performance across all variants.
We've kept convenience high on our list. The Stumpjumper frameset welcomes the return of threaded bottom brackets and welcomes up to a 3.0" tyre. It also embraces standard metric shocks, letting you pair it with your preferred aftermarket rear shock. We leave no stone unturned, the SWAT box is redesigned for a sleeker, lighter, and larger volume storage solution.
Customise your ride further with a simple but innovative Flip Chip. By switching from High to Low, it adjusts your Stumpjumper's stance, dropping your bottom bracket 6mm and slackening the head tube by half-a-degree.
Lastly, our newly designed, ribbed chainstay protector makes chain slap a bothersome memory, practically silencing the drivetrain. And worry not about cable routing; we've installed full tubes throughout the carbon frame for the easiest cable routing experience.
