The Headset (1 1/4 )and Bottom Bracket (30mm Press Fit) is required to install your Chris King headset and Chris King Press Fit Bottom Bracket. The kit includes 2 bearing cup press adapters and a crown race (base plate) setting adapter. Each is specifically designed to evenly apply the pressure of installation to the correct areas of the bearing cups as well as the crown race. We do not recommend you attempt to install your Chris King components without these pieces - Incorrect installation may damage your components and void your warranty.
