Pioggia translates as rain and this shoe cover is designed to keep out all but the most adventurous drops. The PU-coated, fleece lined stretch fabric it's constructed from is 100% waterproof, and the seams are partially tape sealed to defend against leaks. Add in a rear facing, waterproof zipper and a silicone-lined cuff with a cross wrap Velcro strap that combats shin runoff, and you have a cover that puts up quite a fight against the British precipitation.

The Pioggia is furthermore fleece lined and windproof, so it will keep you toasty warm on cold, blustery winter days.

The fabric is stretchy and the whole shoe cover has a very close aero profile that's impressive, given the amount of protection on offer. This is definitely a fast riding piece and not a commuter shoe cover.
