Will my bike have a curved top tube?
Size Small frames have a top tube that dips down as it approaches the seat tube. This makes for a lower standover height, which is good for shorter riders because it allows them to straddle their bike more easily. Larger frames (M and up) have a straight top tube because taller riders typically don't have the same issues.

Is this the 2021 model? Also does the crankset have 48/38/28 as I know some models have the 46/30 ratio, which I don't like. In the specification it says 'Unbranded' for various components. I am a bit confused as on their website they use parts such as Shimano. Also with regards to size, I am 5 foot 7 and usually go for a medium bike but have read that this bike is generally smaller for the size stated so wondering if the Large size would therefore be suitable. I do prefer a more upright position. Thanks. James

Hi James

Thank you for your email and sorry for any delay in getting back to you. This is all the things you asked about. However we only have a large and this would be far too big for you based on your height. We do however have the Dual Sport Gen 4, Medium, Trek Black, Part # 5259136. This had only two rings on the front Chainset 46/30, Rear Cassette 11-36, 9. Speed. We also have it in Blue.

Let me know if you are interested in the model we have available or you have any further questions.

Kind regards

Kelly
