Top Fuel 9.8 is a full suspension carbon mountain bike for riders who don't settle. Not for parts nor for one style of riding. It combines a high-end parts package with a low-weight carbon frame for one unbelievably fun rig that's fast on flow and still fun to ride on techy singletrack.

You're looking for a do-it-all full suspension mountain bike that's efficient and fast, but doesn't shy away from some bigger stuff. You want the added stiffness and weight savings of a carbon frame, but don't mind saving some money on the parts.

A light and stiff full carbon frame, 120 mm RockShox SID Select+ fork, 115 mm of rear travel with a RockShox SID Luxe Ultimate shock and a new Shimano XT 1x12 drive train. Plus, wide carbon Bontrager Kovee Elite 30 wheels with a 54-tooth Rapid Drive hub for fast engagement, Bontrager Line Elite Dropper and carbon handlebars.

Will my bike have a curved top tube?
Smaller frames (S) have a top tube that dips down as it approaches the seat tube. This design makes for a lower standover height, which is good for shorter riders because it allows them to straddle their bike more easily. The larger frames (M and ML) have a straight top tube because taller riders with longer legs typically don't have the same issues with standover height.

Active Braking Pivot

Straight Shot downtube gives you an extra-stiff frame without adding any weight, so you can stick your line through the rough stuff and still fly up the next climb.

Rapid Drive 108 rear hub
With 108 points of engagement, Rapid Drive gives you nearly instant acceleration instead of a clunky lag when you step on the pedals. You get smooth, immediate power to blast out of corners and hammer through the rough stuff. And that extra pedal ratchet adds control that can make all the difference when tackling a tricky climb.
