We reevaluated every aspect of the bike's design, from the head angle to the chainstay length, and made improvements across the board.One of the standout features of the Epic Expert is the Brain 2.0 suspension system. Our original Brain system was a game-changer in terms of efficiency and performance, but we knew we could make it even better. By moving the Brain closer to the rear axle, we were able to improve its sensitivity and damping performance. The Brain 2.0 also integrates the hoses into the suspension links, improving oil flow and creating a sleeker overall package.The Epic Expert features Specialized's Rider-First Engineered design, which optimizes carbon placement to increase stiffness and control. Each frame size has size-specific tubes for the best possible ride quality, regardless of the frame size.Weight was a top priority in the design of the new Epic Expert. We used an efficient frame layout, clean cable routing, and optimized tube shapes to shed weight without sacrificing performance. In fact, the weight savings on the Epic Expert are equivalent to removing a chainstay and shock extension from its predecessor.The build of the Epic Expert is focused on performance and value. It features a 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle groupset, a RockShox SID fork with bottom-adjust Brain Fade, SRAM Level TL brakes, and a hand-built Roval Control Carbon fiber wheelset.Get ready for an epic riding experience with the Men's Epic Expert by Specialized.
